Application Process
This is how you can apply to City University Los Angeles....
But, before you do anything, please go back and read, "Message from the President." It could save you money, time, and anxiety. Then, if you still have a question or two, call 310-671-0783. Leave your name, telephone number, and best time to phone you back. An Admissions Counselor will phone you! Get all your questions answers, and concerns cleared BEFORE YOU APPLY. Does that make sense? You bet it does.... Welcome to the CULA website (even though we have been helping students, fifteen years BEFORE The Internet, since 1974 to be exact). Again, welcome aboard.

- Include the Appropriate Registration Fees
- Brief statement of your educational goal
Note: During its Admissions process, CULA takes into account credit for "life experience." And, the school fully recognizes degree-level equivalencies.
CULA requirements for completion of degree-level programs
- THE BACHELOR DEGREE requires:
120 semester/180 qrtr. credits,
36-48 semester/48-72 qrtr. credits,
54 semester/81 qrtr. credits.
The non-bar law correspondence curriculum is a 3 year program. The 4 year bar program to qualify candidates only for the California Bar Examiners was discontinued in 1992.
All academic degree students must complete a "thesis project" as a part of their degree requirements, at all degree levels (BA, Major Paper; MA, Thesis; LAW, Legal Treatise; DOC, Dissertation).
Certifications: I understand and agree that even though I have received tentative acceptance, I cannot be officially accepted until City University Los Angeles has received official transcripts of previous study. It is also my understanding that refunds are effective from date of registration or payment. I have read the CULA "WEB Catalog" and information and will abide by all regulations and standards imposed upon matriculating students, including paying a $300 dollar Graduation Fee when requirements are met. I submit herewith full annual tuition or the appropriate registration fee (which I understand is to be subtracted from the annual tuition, and is not an additional fee).

** Installment Tuition plus 10% paid to Register. "Registration Fee," Total Program Costs, Cancellation and Refund Policies are detailed in the Annual Enrollment Agreement.
